Matt Duggan is proof of the impact one passionate supporter can have. Diagnosed with Stage 3 bowel cancer at just 36, Matt turned a life-changing diagnosis into a mission to raise awareness of early-onset bowel cancer and encourage others to seek help early.
Through Matt's Marathon Mission, he has completed two 550km runs across Tasmania so far, raising more than $200,000 for cancer charities while inspiring communities across the state through his determination, resilience and willingness to share his story.
Matt will share his unique perspective as a fundraiser, exploring how not-for-profits can better engage, empower and support peer-to-peer fundraisers. Through personal stories and practical insights, he highlights the importance of authentic relationships, building and sustaining engagement and creating meaningful supporter experiences that drive lasting impact.
