Description
From the "Community Impact: Peer-to-Peer and Events" Track
In 2025, Mater Foundation reset the strategy for the International Women’s Day Fun Run, an event attracting more than 30,000 participants. While participation continued to grow, fundraising was not keeping pace, prompting a shift away from celebrating volume alone. The focus moved to understanding supporter value and the true cost of each participant in a large-scale event. This raised a critical question about how much each participant was genuinely contributing. The change led to deeper data analysis, clearer goals, sharper metrics, and more informed decision-making to drive stronger outcomes.
