What happens when charities use AI to create their Christmas appeals? Andrew Sabatino, Katie Farina, Paige Gibbs and additional charity panellists will share what AI delivered during the crucial end-of-year fundraising season.
Drawing on comparisons with established appeal processes and head-to-head tests between human-created and AI-generated campaigns, the panel will examine speed, quality, cost and campaign results. They will discuss where AI saved time or produced unexpected benefits, as well as where human judgement, empathy and creative skill remained stronger.
The session will also explore the implications for smaller charities, the sector’s readiness for AI and the ethical tension between machine efficiency and fundraising grounded in lived experience and human connection. Attendees will leave better equipped to assess the value and limitations of AI based on practical evidence.
