In May 2026, a brand new Qantas plane rolled out of the Airbus paint shop in Hamburg covered end-to-end in sea turtles, clownfish and coral.

The 'Coral Sea' aircraft is a 44-metre, flying celebration of a partnership that began in 2009, and has since committed $10 million over 10 years to reef restoration, funding some of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation's most innovative and critical work.

This partnership between Qantas and GBRF didn't happen just because of a great proposal. It happened because both organisations invested, year after year, in something genuinely shared.
