Nadia Aden, has transformed the bequest program from an isolated into a well-integrated program at The Fred Hollows Foundation, that is front of mine for leadership by building the bequest pipeline over the past 8 years to future proof the program and securing vital income for The Foundation’s work. It resulted in a record breaking 2025 with bequest income now making up over 30% of The Foundation’s public sector income mix.

Nadia has been a part of The Fred Hollows Foundation team for over 13 years, joining first as a Regular Giving Specialist and taking on the bequest program in 2017.

Under her leadership, she has increased the bequest pipeline fivefold with an integrated direct marketing and media strategy, which resulted in income growth of over 300%, growing the income from AUD $11million to over AUD $33million. The bequest program now makes up over 30% of The Foundation’s public sector income mix.

Nadia’s expertise in leading the Bequest program, is key to be able to deliver this workshop and had a deep dive into how Legacy Giving has triple it’s income since she took over the program and how cross-team collaboration is key to align strategy and maximise Acquisition activities.
