Working as a synagogue fundraiser means Ann brings practical knowledge to Jewish community fundraising. A well respected expert, she has spoken on Jewish philanthropy across North America, from Vancouver (Canadian Association of Gift Planners) to New York (Association of Healthcare Philanthropy) and Toronto (AFP ICON), as well as in Europe, including London (NATA) and Amsterdam (IFC).
Her expertise in philanthropy has been featured in the media, including the Associated Press, Globe & Mail, CP24 television and many other outlets.
She is Chair of the AFP Toronto Chapter and a past conference organiser and Board member for ATID (a professional association for Jewish fundraisers).
As a volunteer, she helped found two LGBTQI+ charities, OutRight and Rainbow Railroad.
