Renae has held a variety of roles across the sector for more than 12 years, most recently the Community and Gifts in Wills Manager at Guide Dogs Queensland. Renae has contributed her expertise across a wide range of fundraising disciplines, including Corporate Partnerships, Major Gifts and Prospect Research, Data Management, Individual Giving, Marketing and Communications, Community Fundraising, and Gifts in Wills.

Her career in fundraising was preceded by marketing and sponsorship roles in community-focused organisations, where she developed strong skills in building meaningful partnerships and supporting community initiatives. These experiences gave her valuable insight into the not-for-profit sector and cemented her passion for philanthropy.

Renae is deeply committed to advancing the professionalism of fundraising. She is a proud CFRE, holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies from QUT’s Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (ACPNS), and served on the ACPNS Alumni Committee. She was a member of the recent FIA Code Review Steering Committee, contributing to the review of ethical standards across the sector and is a mentor for the FIA Mentoring program.
