This session explores how philanthropy in Western Australia can be strengthened by moving beyond transactional fundraising towards a model grounded in trust, participation and community connection. It introduces the concept of the “Trust Equation” as a practical framework for understanding and influencing giving behaviour. The presentation style is interactive and reflective, combining real world examples from the University of Western Australia with facilitated discussion.
