Name
Reimagining the future: Inside the capital campaign
Description

Capital campaigns can be transformative, but their opportunities and demands are often difficult to understand until an organisation begins one. In this panel session, practitioners, organisational leaders and volunteers from large and small non-profits share firsthand experiences of deciding to proceed, navigating early planning and quiet phases, managing difficult moments and balancing campaign activity with business-as-usual fundraising.

Through short presentations and an open Q&A, attendees will gain an honest view of campaign delivery and the conditions that indicate readiness. The session will provide a practical framework for assessing whether a capital campaign is the right next step, along with useful questions for engaging CEOs, boards and key stakeholders. Panellists will also share what surprised them and what they would do differently.
