Volunteer at FIA Conference 2027
Volunteers play an important role in helping us deliver a smooth, welcoming and rewarding experience for attendees, speakers and partners.
The Conference is FIA’s signature professional development event, bringing together hundreds of fundraising professionals from across Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond for three days of learning, networking and connection.
If you’re interested in joining the volunteer team, please complete the Expression of Interest form through this portal.
FIA Conference is a busy live event, and the pace of volunteer roles can vary throughout the day. Some periods may be very busy, while others may be quieter.
Volunteers will receive a briefing and guidance from the FIA team and may be asked to assist in different areas throughout their shift. A friendly, flexible and helpful approach is important.
Volunteering at FIA Conference is an opportunity to gain first-hand experience of a major professional conference, meet people from across the fundraising sector and contribute to the delivery of the event.
Volunteers are provided with meals during their shift, a volunteer T-shirt and a letter of appreciation outlining their participation and volunteer role. Volunteers also have opportunities to meet and network with people working across the charity and fundraising sector.
Submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee a volunteer position. Volunteer roles and shifts will be allocated based on the requirements of FIA Conference 2027, and successful applicants will receive further information about their assigned role, shift times and responsibilities.
